Mark Wilson Submits Brief to Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce on Blockchain Technology

Bill C-25, An Act to amend the Canada Business Corporations Act, the Canada Cooperatives Act, the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act and the Competition Act has been referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce.

 

Lawyer Mark Wilson from Wildeboer Dellelce has submitted a brief to the Committee recommending amendments to the Canada Business Corporations Act in order for corporations governed by that statute to utilize distributed ledger (“blockchain”) technology.
