Rebecca practises primarily in the areas of securities, corporate finance and corporate/commercial law. Rebecca has represented issuers in a diverse range of industries in connection with public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, takeover bids and mergers and acquisitions.
Rebecca has acted on behalf of clients in a broad range of sectors such as mining, technology and asset management, as well as niche areas of pharmaceutical regulation.
Rebecca completed her articles with the firm in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca worked in the legal department of one of Canada’s largest investment fund companies and also worked as a researcher for a mergers and acquisitions boutique in Toronto.
While attending law school at Queen’s University, Rebecca received course prizes for attaining the highest standing in both Corporate Finance and Contested Transactions. In 2013 Rebecca also completed the International Business Law Program at Herstmonceux Castle in England.
