Rachel Manno joined the firm in May 2021 and practises in the firm’s Debt Products practice group.
Rachel practised as a secured lending lawyer at a large, national law firm before joining the law group of RBC Capital Markets, supporting the derivatives solutions group.
She left RBC for a fintech which lends to small businesses, as their general counsel and VP Operations (risk, credit adjudication, loan admin) and ultimately became their Chief Operations Officer.
After the company’s first public offering, Rachel returned to private practice. She has represented lenders and borrowers on cash flow and asset-based loans, securitizations and public-private infrastructure projects.
Rachel holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English Literature from Queen’s University, an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto and a J.D. from University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Rachel was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2012.
Rachel is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. Rachel is also a long-time member and supporter of Women in Capital Markets.
