Sarah is an associate practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Sarah joined the firm as a summer student in 2018 and articled with the firm in 2019-2020.
Sarah earned a Juris Doctor (with distinction) from the Faculty of Law at Western University, where she was a recipient of the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize.
Prior to law school, she studied Psychology and obtained a general Bachelor of Arts degree (with high distinction) from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she was the recipient of the Alumni Bronze Medal. Prior to law school, she was a research assistant to a professor in the Faculty of Science at Wilfrid Laurier University, assisting in the administration of cognitive neuroscience and collective cognition experiments.
During law school, she served as a co-chair of the Orientation Committee, as well as the executive graphic designer for both the Yearbook Committee and the Gender and the Law Association. She participated in various advocacy competitions throughout law school and was one of four students representing Western Law in the province-wide Winkler Class Action Moot.
Sarah is a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic which provides legal services to early stage entrepreneurial ventures in the financing and equity structuring stages of growth.
Outside of law, Sarah’s interests include the visual arts, playing soccer, and travelling.
