Danny practises primarily in the areas of securities and corporate commercial law, with an emphasis on corporate finance, investment funds, and mergers and acquisitions. Danny has represented both issuers and investment dealers in a diverse range of industries, in connection with a variety of matters including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, mergers, acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory filings.
With a practical, business-focused, and results-based approach Danny has acted on behalf of clients in a broad range of sectors such as blockchain technology, digital currencies, cannabis, asset management, technology, mining, energy and entertainment.
Danny is an adjunct faculty member at Osgoode Hall Law School.
While at law school, Danny was selected as a Dean’s fellow and worked as a teaching assistant for the Dean’s Legal Research and Writing courses. Danny also participated in his law school's moot court program. His team placed second in the world in the 2012 World Trade Organization Moot competition in Montpellier, France. Danny was also an assistant editor for the University of Ottawa Law Review.
Danny joined the firm as a summer student in 2012 and completed his articles with the firm in 2014.
