Jonathan Born is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Group.
Jonathan practises primarily in the areas of real estate and corporate commercial law with an emphasis on commercial transactions and property development. Jonathan is experienced with all aspects of commercial real estate matters including the acquisition, disposition, management, financing and development of various asset classes as well as joint ventures, limited partnerships and commercial leasing. He also practises in the Debt Products Group and acts on a number of real estate related corporate and securities transactions.
Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce, Jonathan practised commercial real estate law at a full-service firm in Toronto where he acted for REITs, private investors, developers, national retailers, municipalities and financial institutions in complex real estate, financing and infrastructure transactions. Before entering the practice of law, Jonathan gained experience in finance, securities and banking matters at a global financial services company as well as at the Department of Finance in Ottawa.
Jonathan has completed the Canadian Securities Course and is also a licensed Ontario mining prospector.
