Overview

Natalie is a lawyer practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Natalie joined the firm as a summer student in 2018 and articled with the firm in 2019-2020.

 

Firm mandates that Natalie has been involved with include:

 

  • Business combination of GCM Mining Corp. and Aris Gold Corporation
  • Flow Water Inc.’s $90 million private placement offering and listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange
  • Acting for the underwriters on WELL Health Technologies Corp.’s $100 million bought deal offerings

 

Recently, Natalie contributed a chapter to the newest edition of The Handbook of Corporate Governance: A Comprehensive Guide for Public, Private, and Not-for-Profit Board Members on corporate governance mechanisms in emerging markets.

 

Natalie is part of a team of Wildeboer Dellelce lawyers providing pro bono legal services to BIPOC owned and operated businesses within the Basketball community who have applied, through Canada Basketball, for legal assistance to either launch or grow their businesses. This is part of a wider partnership the firm has with Canada Basketball, the National Sporting Organization for Basketball in Canada. She is also a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic which provides legal services to early-stage entrepreneurial ventures in the financing and equity structuring stages of growth.

 

Natalie is active in her community and sits on the board of directors of the Ukrainian Canadian Art Foundation and is a member of the Scholarship Committee of Buduchnist Credit Union. In March 2022, Natalie was featured in The Globe and Mail for creating artwork to raise over $18,000 to support the Canada Ukraine Foundation.

 

Natalie earned a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) from Queen’s University.

 

Outside of law, you can find Natalie with a paintbrush and canvas in hand or making a batch of homemade pasta.
