Katie Drury received a Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor and a Juris Doctor (summa cum laude) from the School of Law at the University of Detroit Mercy through the Dual JD Program. She received the Board of Governors medal for graduating with the highest academic standing in her program. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Paralegal Studies from Humber College and was a licensed paralegal. While in law school, she assumed a mentorship role to first-year law students as part of the Peer Mentorship Program, served as a student advisor to the Career Services Office, and acted as a facilitator for high school outreach. In Michigan, she held an externship at the Federal District Court and served clients at the Federal Pro Se Clinic. Outside of law, Katie’s interests include playing hockey and travelling.

Julian earned a Juris Doctor from Western University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Western University and a Master of Science from the University of Waterloo. During his time at Waterloo, Julian sat on the Faculty of Kinesiology’s Appeal Committee as a Graduate Student Association representative. While in law school, Julian was a case manager for Western Law’s Sport Solution Clinic. Julian also spent a semester studying abroad at Bocconi University in Italy. Julian’s interests outside of law include watching sports and movies, travelling and powerlifting.

Nick earned a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa. He holds an Honours Economics and Financial Management degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he was the top graduating economics student. During law school, Nick was a research assistant and successfully secured a $60,000 grant to produce a literature review focused on intellectual property rights and clean innovation. He was a member of the Business Law Society and teammate on multiple intramural teams, including basketball and volleyball. In his final year, Nick spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Vienna. Recently, he submitted for publication an article recommending amendments to Canadian federal privacy law, specifically dealing with de-identification. Outside of law, Nick’s interests include hiking/trekking, camping, and following developments in the intersection of technology and human rights.

Brendan earned his Juris Doctor (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (With Distinction) from the Schulich School of Business at York University. While in law school, Brendan was a Teaching Assistant for Principles of Legal Research, and Introduction to Public and Constitutional Law. In his final two years of law school he was also actively involved with the Faculty of Law’s Career and Professional Development Center as a Facilitator and Resume and Cover Letter Specialist. During law school, Brendan was named a Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellow, earned the Godyne Sibay Scholarship in Real Estate Law, and was awarded the Insolvency Institute of Canada Prize in Insolvency Studies for earning the highest standing in Bankruptcy and Insolvency. Throughout law school, Brendan pursued his interest in photography by operating a digital media company he co-founded in university. Outside of law, Brendan’s interests include supporting Toronto’s professional sports teams, reading, and watching movies.
