Apolo III Acquisition Corp. Completes Qualifying Transaction and Playmaker Capital Inc. Completes $24 Million Private Placement

Apolo III Acquisition Corp., a Capital Pool Company under the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange, has completed its qualifying transaction with Playmaker Capital Inc. (the “Qualifying Transaction”). Pursuant to the Qualifying Transaction, Apolo acquired all of the issued and outstanding securities of Playmaker and changed its name from “Apolo III Acquisition Corp.” to “Playmaker Capital Inc.”.

 

Prior to and in connection with the Qualifying Transaction, Playmaker completed a brokered private placement of subscription receipts for gross proceeds of $24 million.

 

Playmaker, a digital sports media company with headquarters in Toronto and Miami, sits at the nexus of sports, media, gaming and technology. Playmaker is building a collection of premier sports media brands to provide sports betting companies, leagues, teams and advertisers with a direct link to audiences of sports fans.
