Overview

Anthony is an accomplished leader and strategic advisor with over three decades of extensive global experience in the financial services industry. He provides advice, counsel and guidance to established companies and emerging growth companies at all stages in their business life cycle.

 

Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce LLP, Anthony was Royal Bank of Canada’s Chief Counsel – M&A, responsible for successfully leading the legal and regulatory work for numerous complex transactions in multiple countries (including Canada, the U.S., the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin and South America, Hong Kong, China, the Caribbean and Israel) which produced significant enterprise and shareholder value.

 

Anthony also previously served as General Counsel at Finaptic Technologies Inc., a state-of-the-art banking-as-a-service (BaaS) start-up with a platform enabling businesses to offer a full range of banking products to their customers.

 

Anthony has received awards and been recognized in Canada and internationally for his business expertise, the ability to work collaboratively and a track record of successful transactions. He is also recognized on The Legal 500’s GC Powerlist’s prestigious list of top 100 influential and innovative legal counsel in Canada.

 

Anthony is actively involved in volunteer work, currently sitting on the St. George’s Golf Club board and has previously served as a director on the Wellspring and Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO) boards.

 

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
