Overview

Chris is a Partner practising primarily in the areas of banking and financial services, corporate and commercial law, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate law.

Chris assists both lenders and borrowers in connection with syndicated and non-syndicated, secured and non-secured, domestic and cross-border, and revolving and term credit facilities. He also assists lenders and borrowers with asset-based credit facilities, subordinate/convertible debt transactions and private credit transactions.

Chris also advises clients on shareholder agreements and acts for vendors and purchasers in connection with mergers and acquisitions and a variety of other business-related agreements.

Chris is recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory as one of Canada’s leading practitioners in Asset-Based Lending and Banking & Financial Institutions and in The Best Lawyers in Canada for his work in Banking and Finance Law.
