Daivik Shelat
Overview
Daivik is a summer student completing his Juris Doctor and Honours Business Administration degrees at the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law and the Ivey Business School. He is scheduled to graduate from both programs in 2026.
In law school, Daivik has been involved in a variety of initiatives including serving as the co-chair for the South Asian Law Students’ Association and Distinguished Speakers Committee. Outside of these activities, Daivik is also involved as an ambassador for the law school and has competed in both moot and contract drafting competitions. In the summer following his first year of law school, Daivik worked as a Research Assistant at the law school. Prior to law school, Daivik worked as a summer intern at an accounting firm within their private enterprise audit division. Outside of the law school, Daivik served as Chief Returning Officer for the Ivey Honours Business Administration Association and as Deputy Returning Officer of the University Students’ Council at Western University.
In his free time, Daivik enjoys travelling, listening to music and landscape/nature photography.
