Karla Ledesma
Overview
Karla (she, her) is completing her third year of the Juris Doctor program at Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University (“TMU”).
During law school, Karla serves as co-president of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, Lincoln Alexander Chapter where she works to build a sense of community. She also served as Co-Lead of the Orientation Committee for the 2026 Class and, in the fall of 2023, as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing.
Prior to attending law school, Karla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from TMU and founded a successful clothing business. Karla speaks two languages: English and Spanish.
Karla spends much of her free time exercising, exploring new Toronto restaurants and travelling.
