Overview

Karla completed her J.D at Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University where she served as Co-President of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, Lincoln Alexander Chapter, and as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing.

Prior to law school, Karla operated her own clothing resale business, managing all aspects from sourcing to sales. She also gained valuable experience in the financial services sector as an underwriter assistant at a busy mortgage brokerage, where she assisted in several multi-million dollars commercial real estate deals.

Karla spends much of her free time exercising and exploring new Toronto restaurants.
