Overview

Kyra is a lawyer practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Kyra first joined the firm as a summer student in 2022 and articled with the firm in 2023-2024.

 

Kyra earned a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. She was the recipient of the Caleb J. Hayhoe award for the highest standing in the International Business Transactions course. Prior to attending law school, Kyra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.

 

During law school, Kyra worked on the alumnae relations team for the Osgoode Women’s Network. She also served as the Vice-President of both the Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) and the Osgoode Business Law Society (OBLS). In her capacity as JLSA Vice-President, Kyra advocated for students on campus and worked to build a sense of community. As Vice-President of the OBLS, Kyra mentored students through both the 1L and 2L formal recruitment periods and brought business law opportunities to Osgoode students.

 

Kyra spends much of her free time exercising, watching movies and exploring new Toronto restaurants.
