Leanne Stevens
Overview
Leanne is a lawyer practising primarily in the areas of tax, corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. She completed her articles with the firm in 2023–2024.
Leanne previously served as a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic, which provided legal services to early-stage entrepreneurial ventures on financing and equity structuring matters.
Leanne earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. Prior to attending law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Contemporary Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and a Master of Education in Higher Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
During her time at Osgoode Hall Law School, she was an editor for the Transnational Legal Theory Journal and both a performer and crew member for Osgoode’s annual variety show, Mock Trial.
In her spare time, Leanne enjoys knitting, reading non-fiction, and doting on her niece and nephews.
