Overview

Natalie is a lawyer practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Natalie joined the firm as a summer student in 2018 and articled with the firm in 2019–2020.

 

Firm mandates that Natalie has been involved with include:

  • Acting for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) in connection with Roger Communication Inc.’s $4.7 billion acquisition of BCE’s interest in MLSE and OMERS’US$400 million investment in MLSE
  • Brazil Potash Corp.’s cross-border IPO on the NYSE American and over US$100 million in equity offerings
  • Acting for the underwriters on WELL Health Technologies Corp.’s $100 million bought deal offerings

 

Recently, Natalie contributed a chapter to the latest edition of The Handbook of Corporate Governance: A Comprehensive Guide for Public, Private, and Not-for-Profit Board Members on corporate governance mechanisms in emerging markets.

 

Natalie was part of a team of Wildeboer Dellelce lawyers providing pro bono legal services to BIPOC-owned and-operated businesses within the basketball community. These businesses applied through Canada Basketball for legal assistance to launch or grow their operations. This work formed part of a broader partnership between the firm and Canada Basketball, the recognized National Sport Organization for basketball in Canada. She also previously served as a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic, which provided legal services to early-stage entrepreneurial ventures on financing and equity structuring matters.

 

Natalie is active in her community, serving as a member of the Scholarship Committee of Buduchnist Credit Union. In March 2022, Natalie was featured in The Globe and Mail for creating artwork that raised over $18,000 in support of the Canada Ukraine Foundation.

 

Natalie earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) from Queen’s University.
