Nathan Holloway
Overview
Nathan (he, him) practises primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, and corporate and commercial law.
Mandates that Nathan has been involved with include acting for:
- 3iQ Digital Holdings Inc.’s acquisition by Monex Group Inc.
- Flexjet in its acquisition of Flying Colours Corp.
- Comwave Networks Inc. in its acquisition by Rogers Communications Canada Inc.
- Ridout & Maybee LLP in its definitive agreement to be acquired by IPH Limited and to join Smart & Biggar.
- Lenworth Building Services Limited in its acquisition by Miami-based private equity firm, Trivest Partners L.P.
- Studio City Toronto and Studio City Rentals in its acquisition by Sunbelt Rentals of Canada.
- Gin-Cor Industries Inc. in its acquisition of Drivetec Manufacturing Ltd.
- Aequitas Innovations Inc. (the NEO Exchange) in its acquisition by Cboe Global Markets, Inc.
Nathan earned a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and public policy from the University of Guelph.
During his time at Osgoode, Nathan finished in the top 4% of the 2018 Osgoode graduating class and received various awards including the Honourable F.H. Barlow Scholarship for excellence in business law, the Fogler Rubinoff Prize in Advanced Business Law, and the Gowling WLG Prize in securities regulation.
Outside of the office, Nathan is a member of the Rotary Club of Barrie, an avid golfer and hockey player and enjoys cheering on his beloved Vancouver Canucks.
