Wave Completes US$24 Million Series D Financing

Wave Accounting (waveapps.com), the leading provider of financial management software for entrepreneurs and small business owners, completed a US$24 million Series D strategic financing, with participation from leading financial services companies including National Australia Bank (NAB), Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Portag3 (the investment arm of PowerCorp focusing on financial services innovations), and Exhibition Capital. The investment also included funding from existing investors BDC IT Venture Fund, BDC Capital, CRV, Social Capital, OMERS Ventures, Harbourvest and OurCrowd.

Troy Pocaluyko (corporate/securities) of Wildeboer Dellelce LLP acted for BDC IT Venture Fund and BDC Co-Investments Fund in connection with the financing.
