OTTAWA, ON (October 8, 2026) – Football Canada is pleased to announce that Wildeboer Dellelce LLP has been chosen to serve as the organization’s exclusive corporate law firm and outside legal services provider in Canada from 2026 through 2028.
The partnership brings together two organizations committed to supporting the continued growth and development of football in Canada. Through the partnership, Wildeboer Dellelce will provide legal counsel to Football Canada and support the organization across its national programs and operations through 2028.
“Strong partnerships are an important part of Football Canada’s continued growth, and we’re pleased to welcome Wildeboer Dellelce as our exclusive legal partner in Canada through 2028. Their experience and understanding of the Canadian sport landscape will be a valuable asset to our organization as we continue to strengthen football at every level and create more opportunities for athletes, coaches, officials and communities across the country,” said Eva Havaris, CEO of Football Canada.
The partnership builds on Wildeboer Dellelce’s established work with organizations across Canada’s sports community and further strengthens the firm’s presence in the national sports sector. The announcement comes at an exciting time for Football Canada, following a historic performance at the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships in Düsseldorf, Germany. Canada’s Senior Women’s National Team captured gold and secured a berth at the LA28 Olympic Games, while the Senior Men’s national team earned bronze and secured its own Olympic berth, marking a landmark tournament for the country and the sport.
“We are excited to partner with Football Canada and support the organization through 2028,” said Perry Dellelce, Managing Partner of Wildeboer Dellelce.
“Football has a significant presence across communities throughout Canada, and Football Canada plays an important role in developing the sport from grassroots participation through to its national teams. We look forward to bringing our experience and expertise to the organization and supporting its continued growth.”
As Football Canada continues to expand opportunities for participation, competition and high-performance development across the country, the partnership with Wildeboer Dellelce will provide the organization with dedicated legal expertise to support its work through 2028.
