Anthony is an accomplished leader and strategic advisor with three decades of legal experience in the financial services industry. He has extensive global expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, strategic alliances and commercial arrangements. As Royal Bank of Canada’s Chief Counsel – M&A, Anthony successfully led the legal and regulatory work in connection with numerous complex transactions in Canada, the U.S., the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin and South America, Hong Kong, China, the Caribbean and Israel.
Currently, Anthony is General Counsel at Finaptic Technologies Inc., a state-of-the-art banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platform enabling businesses to offer a full range of banking products to its customers.
Anthony has received awards and been recognized in Canada and internationally for M&A achievements, the ability to work collaboratively and a track record of successful transactions. He is also recognized on The Legal 500’s GC Powerlist’s prestigious list of top 100 influential and innovative legal counsel in Canada.
Anthony is actively involved in volunteer work, currently sitting on the Wellspring and Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO) boards and on various committees.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
