Bronwyn Newell

Bronwyn is a lawyer practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial, and debt law. Bronwyn first joined the firm as a summer student in 2021 and articled with the firm in 2022-2023.

Bronwyn earned her Juris Doctor and Honours Business Administration degree through the combined JD/HBA program at the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Law and Richard Ivey School of Business.

While in law school, Bronwyn was an Orientation Leader and the VP of Communications for the Western Legal Innovation Association. She was also a member of Pro Bono Students Canada, where she assisted Legal Line in providing free and accessible legal answers to Canadians.

During her time at Ivey, Bronwyn competed in several case competitions, placing first in the BCG Kickoff Competition. She was also a player and coach on various flag football teams throughout her time at Western.

Outside of law, Bronwyn’s interests include trying new restaurants, playing sports and travelling.
