Hannah Dodick
Overview
Hannah (she, her) is a lawyer practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Hannah first joined the firm as a summer student in 2020 and articled with the firm in 2021-2022.
Hannah earned a Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor and a Juris Doctor from the School of Law at the University of Detroit Mercy. Hannah completed her undergraduate studies at Western University where she obtained Honours in a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. During her time in law school, Hannah served as the president of the Windsor Fashion Law Society, worked with clients in the Michigan Trademark and Entrepreneur Clinic and held an externship position at the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.
Hannah is passionate about getting to know her clients and finding the proper solutions to solve complex legal issues. She adopts a client-first and team-oriented approach that is based on her interpersonal skills and ability to analyze and think critically.
As part of the firm’s partnership with Canada Basketball, the National Sporting Organization for Basketball in Canada, Hannah is part of a team of lawyers providing pro bono legal services to BIPOC owned and operated businesses within the Basketball community who have applied, through Canada Basketball, for legal assistance to either launch or grow their businesses.
Hannah is also a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic which provides legal services to early-stage entrepreneurial ventures in the financing and equity structuring stages of growth.
Outside of law, you can find Hannah exploring Toronto’s newest food scenes, scoping out new music and artists, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
