Jesse Brodlieb

Jesse practises in the firm’s Tax practice group.
Jesse’s practice is broad-based and covers all areas of income tax planning and structuring. Jesse has extensive experience advising high-net-worth families, owner-managers and entrepreneurs on tax and succession planning issues. This includes business structures, tax planning and private company tax along with trusts, wills and estates matters and wealth preservation.
Jesse also advises the firm’s M&A, Corporate Finance and Corporate & Commercial law practices on tax matters related to all stages of commercial transactions, including early-stage entity formation and structuring, public and private financing, and both buy- and sell-side transactional advice.
Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce, Jesse founded his own law firm, Brodlieb Legal, in 2018, having previously been a partner in the Tax group at Dentons Canada LLP. Jesse started his legal career with Blakes as a first-year summer student in the Tax department in 2005.
Jesse presented at the Canadian Fintech Summit, where he discussed tax issues facing start-ups and their investors. Jesse is a member of Alliott Global Alliance, an international alliance of independent professional services firms including accounting firms, law firms, and other specialist services providers.
Jesse earned his Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, graduating with both degrees in 2007. Before law school, Jesse earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Huron University.
