Kayla Barzakay
Overview
Kayla Barzakay is a summer student completing her Juris Doctor at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University (“TMU”), where she is entering her third year. During law school, Kayla serves as the Vice President of the Jewish Law Students’ Association, working closely with peers to foster community and cultural connection within TMU’s law school.
Prior to law school, Kayla earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western University. She then pursued her passion for the beauty industry by managing three locations of the Blo Blow Dry Bar franchise, where she oversaw day-to-day operations, team leadership and client experience.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys cooking and baking healthy desserts. She loves spending time outdoors, running or walking her cocker spaniel, Mia. When she’s not in the city, she loves to travel and immerse herself in new cultures.
