Marcus Moore
Overview
Marcus is a lawyer practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Marcus first joined the firm as a summer student in 2021 and articled with the firm in 2022-2023.
Marcus earned his Juris Doctor from Western University where he completed the Business Law Area of Concentration. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Queen’s University. Marcus has also successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course.
While in law school, Marcus worked as a Research Assistant to a professor in the Faculty of Law and served as a Staff Editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies. Marcus also participated in various advocacy competitions and represented Western Law in the province-wide Winkler Class Action Moot.
Marcus has always been passionate about helping others. During law school, he served as a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada and volunteered as a Caseworker with a London-area legal clinic. Marcus was also a tutor for several first-year courses at Western Law.
Outside of law, Marcus’ interests include travelling, playing golf and supporting the Toronto Maple Leafs.
