Zehra Irfan
Overview
Zehra was called to the bar in June 2026 and will return to the firm as a lawyer in February 2027. She first joined the firm as a summer student in 2024 and articled with the firm in 2025–2026.
Zehra completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, where she also pursed an option in Technology Law. Prior to law school, she earned an International Bachelor of Business Administration at the Schulich School of Business, where she specialized in Operations Management and Information Systems, and earned a certificate in International Management.
During law school, Zehra worked alongside the University of Ottawa and the Entrepreneurship Hub to establish the University’s first start-up legal clinic. She also volunteered through Pro-Bono Students Canada for the Canadian Bar Association, and worked with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada on AI policy research.
In her free time, Zehra enjoys visiting cafés, reading fiction and taking photos.
