Adam Solomon
Overview
Adam is a lawyer in the firm’s Tax practice group, with a practice focused on personal and corporate income tax and trust and estate planning. He routinely advises high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals, families, and private business owners on advanced estate, succession, and wealth transfer matters, including the structuring and implementation of sophisticated trust arrangements, multiple and cross-jurisdictional wills, and powers of attorney. Adam also assists with estate administration and post mortem tax planning, as well as probate tax minimization, creditor protection, and business continuity planning. He routinely acts for owner managed businesses, professionals, and multigenerational families in addressing sophisticated tax and estate planning needs.
Adam earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he received numerous academic awards, including the Charles Edward Woodrow Award, the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Prize, and the Dean’s Letter for outstanding academic performance. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Outside of his practice, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, refining his cooking skills, and learning about the cosmos.
