Allyson Hamilton
Overview
Allyson is a summer student completing her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School and is part of the 2026 graduating cohort.
Prior to entering law school, she achieved a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Finance, at Dalhousie University. During her time at Dalhousie, Allyson completed the Canadian Securities Course and achieved an additional certificate in Financial Accounting. Allyson previously interned within a Canadian chartered bank’s capital market regulatory and operations groups, and with a start-up.
At Osgoode Hall Law School, she received the Harley D. Hallett Award and participated as a clinic worker with the Investor Protection Clinic. Allyson is the incoming Co-President of the Osgoode Venture Capital Law Society. Additionally, she works with a student-led venture capital fund as part of the legal team.
Allyson is originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and outside of law, she is an avid reader and baker.
