Elemental Royalty Completes Acquisition of Vizsla Royalties
Elemental Royalty Corporation (NASDAQ: ELE) (TSX: ELE) and Vizsla Royalties Corp. (TSXV: VROY) completed Elemental’s acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Vizsla Royalties by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement. The total transaction value was estimated at $327 million at the time of announcement.
Through the transaction, Elemental has acquired Vizsla Royalties’ 2.0% to 3.5% net smelter returns royalties on Vizsla Silver Corp.’s Panuco silver-gold project in Mexico.
Canaccord Genuity Corp. acted as financial advisor and provided a fairness opinion to the special committee of the board of directors of Vizsla Royalties in connection with the transaction.
