Wildeboer Dellelce Welcomes Four New Lawyers

We are pleased to announce that Jessica Sorbara, Mark Coghlan, Melissa Smith and Niall Sweeney have joined the firm as lawyers.

 

Jessica joined our office as a summer student in 2017 and returned to complete her articles in 2018/2019. Jessica earned a J.D. from the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University and holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business. During her time at law school, Jessica served as Co-President to the Queen’s Law chapter of Level: Changing Lives Through Law. Prior to law school, Jessica worked as a Financial Associate at Bridging Finance Inc.

 

Mark earned a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours First Class) from Queen’s University. During his time in law school, Mark worked in the Notre Dame Athletics Business Office and was a research assistant for the Notre Dame Law School. He completed externships in the Notre Dame Office of General Counsel and Notre Dame Athletics Compliance Department.

 

Melissa received her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University, specializing in English Literature. During her time in law school, Melissa was a caseworker at the low-income legal clinic, Downtown Legal Services. Melissa also served on the executive committee for her school’s Women in Law group and was an editor of Ultra Vires, the faculty’s student newspaper.

 

Niall received a Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor and a Juris Doctor from the School of Law at the University of Detroit Mercy. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in Political Science. During his first year of law school, Niall completed a legal internship in Detroit at The Department of Corporation Counsel for Wayne County.
