We are pleased to announce that Katie Drury, Julian Lupo and Brendan Wu have joined the firm as lawyers.
Katie practises primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Katie first joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and articled with the firm in 2020-2021. Katie received a Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor and a Juris Doctor (summa cum laude) from the School of Law at the University of Detroit Mercy through the Dual JD Program. She received the Board of Governors medal for graduating with the highest academic standing in her program.
Julian is an associate practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Julian first joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and articled with the firm in 2020-2021. Julian earned a Juris Doctor from Western University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Western University and a Master of Science from the University of Waterloo. During his time at Waterloo, Julian sat on the Faculty of Kinesiology’s Appeal Committee as a Graduate Student Association representative. While in law school, Julian was a case manager for Western Law’s Sport Solution Clinic. Julian also spent a semester studying abroad at Bocconi University in Italy.
Brendan is an associate practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial, and real estate law. Brendan first joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and articled with the firm in 2020-2021. Brendan earned his Juris Doctor (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. While in law school, Brendan was a Teaching Assistant for Principles of Legal Research, and Introduction to Public and Constitutional Law. In his final two years of law school, he was also actively involved with the Faculty of Law’s Career and Professional Development Center as a Facilitator and Resume and Cover Letter Specialist.
