Nidec Corporation Acquisition of Linear Transfer Automation Inc., Linear Automation USA Inc., and Presstrader Limited

On October 1, 2024, Nidec Corporation and its affiliate, Nidec Minster Corporation, completed the acquisition of all of the shares of Linear Transfer Automation Inc., Linear Automation USA Inc. and Presstrader Limited (collectively, “Linear”). Founded in 1994, Linear, headquartered in Barrie, Ontario specializes in producing high-quality solutions for stamping rooms. Linear is a global supplier of press transfer automation, blank feed systems, and press-to-press automation.

Wildeboer Dellelce LLP acted for Linear in connection with the transaction with a team comprised of Perry Dellelce, Nick Gray, Nathan Holloway and Hannah Dodick (M&A and Corporate/Securities), Marija Tasevska (Tax), and Paul De Francesca and Amanda Carpenter (Real Estate).
