KSV Advisory Enters into Definitive Agreement for its Acquisition by AlixPartners
On May 20, 2026, KSV Advisory Inc. (“KSV”), one of Canada’s leading restructuring advisory boutiques, entered into a definitive agreement with AlixPartners, a global consulting firm and leader in turnaround and restructuring services, pursuant to which AlixPartners will acquire KSV.
The transaction is expected to close on or about June 1, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Following closing, KSV’s restructuring team in Toronto and Calgary is expected to join the AlixPartners TRS Americas practice, with KSV’s senior leadership team transitioning into key roles within the organization.
Wildeboer Dellelce represented KSV in connection with the transaction with a team comprised of Rob Wortzman, James Brown, Neel Patel, Jordan Stewart-Kuppek, Alison Sinclair, and Cassandra Richards (Mergers and Acquisitions / Corporate and Commercial) and Mariam Al-Shikarchy (Tax).
