Forum Student Living Fund I Completes $43.3 Million Initial Public Offering
Forum Student Living Fund I (the “Trust”) has completed its initial public offering for total gross proceeds of approximately C$43.3 million. The Trust also raised additional proceeds through concurrent private placement offerings and a co-investment by an affiliate of Forum Asset Management Inc., resulting in an aggregate capital raise of approximately C$46.7 million. The Trust was created for the primary purpose of investing in a portfolio of Canadian purpose-built student accommodation properties.
In connection with the initial public offering, CIBC World Markets Inc. acted as lead agent to the Trust, with a syndicate that included iA Private Wealth Inc., Wellington-Altus Private Wealth Inc., Canaccord Genuity Corp., CI Investment Services Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., Raymond James Ltd. and Richardson Wealth Limited (collectively, the “Agents”).
